Yamaha's High Thrust four strokes, are built for the jobs that require more muscle, like pushing heavy pontoon or adding that extra kick to maneuver a sailboat through a crowded marina. The larger lower units and higher gear ratio produce more thrust than standard four strokes, and when paired with a Yamaha dual thrust prop ( not included in the purchase ) you can expect 60% more thrust in forward and 70% more thrust in reverse.
